The Armed Forces of Malta have evacuated a Maltese ship surveyor this morning. The surveyor was airlifted from the MV King Edwin, which was located 16 nautical miles off Delimara point, to hospital. The evacuation was successfully performed in low visibility due to low fog in the area.
